Bill Payments and funds for bills scheduled are processed by the credit union the next business day Monday - Friday.

With Online Bill Payer, you can:

  • Pay virtually anyone in the U.S. from your Dutch Point Checking Account
  • Schedule payments in advance, both one-time and recurring payments
  • View past bill payments via your DPCU OnLine Account History

How to Use Bill Payer

Bill Payer is available through DPCU OnLine. If you are not a DPCU OnLine member, you must sign up for online banking before you can enroll in Bill Payer. 

1. If you are an online banking member, you must access DPCU OnLine in order to enroll and begin using Bill Payer.

  • Log into DPCU OnLine.
  • Click the "Bills" button.
  • Click the "Add New Bill" button.
You will be presented with a disclosure, which you must read and accept. Once you submit the disclosure acceptance, you are automatically enrolled in Bill Payer.

2. To begin adding bill payments, click on the "Add New Bill" button. You must choose a remittance frequency: On Demand, Monthly or Single Payment.

  • On Demand Payment--you may schedule each time you wish to pay
  • Monthly Payment--you may set up a payment to go out at the same time each month for the same amount
  • Single Payment--your one-time payment will go out and then be deleted from the Bill Payer list

3. After selecting the frequency, you may begin adding merchants by selecting a payee from a list of self-service merchants the credit union has set up or you may choose to add your own merchants.

In order to add your own merchant(s), you must complete a form online (DPCU OnLine Secure Email) and submit it to the Dutch Point Electronic Services department. The Credit Union will process the request and reply back to you via DPCU Online by the next business day.

Helpful Hints

  • Make sure you have available funds in your account to cover the payment.
  • Provide accurate payment instructions, correct account numbers, etc.
  • Be sure to record your payments and payment dates in your checkbook.
  • Your account balance will not change by scheduling future bills. Your account is not debited until the scheduled pay date.
  • Allow several days for your payment to arrive, especially over weekends and holidays.
  • You may cancel a payment up to close of business on the business day prior to the scheduled payment date.
